GET OFF MY NUTTS!
In case you didn’t know, I’m the host and producer of the SEQALAB podcast – it’s a twice-weekly podcast, put out by the school, for comic book creators and enthusiasts. The idea was that it’s a way for students to get the word out about their own projects and Web-comic sites, make industry contacts via guest interviews, as well as share some of the knowledge and fun that we have in the department with the rest of the world.
After I came back from France certain changes had to be made. These were non-negotiable. Ol’ Brett from The Daily Odyssey had joined the ranks of podcast jockeys in my absence, and let me and the rest of the world know in no uncertain terms how he felt about those changes.
Everything worked out fine – better than fine as a matter of fact. The show’s back on track and downloads have never been higher. Brett’s produced an AWESOME array of episode art for the show as well as stepped up in a BIG WAY when it comes to some of the editing.
But yeah, I jumpped in his shit a bit when he got on my case.

For what it’s worth, I’m digging the finely tuned style of Seqalab. And the content you guys have provided recently (especially the pitch episode) has been so very beneficial.
And I’m glad to see new updates of the journal comic! Welcome back!

This is just like when Professor X came back from outer space the first time and tried to enforce his rules on the new class of X-Men! And this is the nerdiest reference I’ve made all day.

Hey, make no mistake, Brett was just coming from a concerned place. And trust me , that’s no sin! Giving a shit about what you’re participating in. . .no harm there.

That being said, SEQALAB’s totally kicking ass right now, those first couple weeks made me a little worrisome, but everything worked out in the end!

Well kumajin, I think it was a situation where a cooler head should have prevailed – the knee-jerk reaction is seldom the best one. But, at least I keeps it real here.
